The Spirit also convicts and reveals. Late last year, Heather, a member of a Montreal area church brought to us her concern about the broadly reported increase in severity and frequency of domestic violence during COVID-19. We began to pray and consult others working in this area to discern what we might be able to do about this need.
As a Christian organization uniquely placed among various church traditions, we hope to launch a preliminary study to better understand the current reality in the church.
Ultimately, our goal is to help identify specific needs of church-going survivors of domestic violence, and equip the church to better support survivors in their journey of healing.
